What the app does

Angrezi Babu helps you practise spoken and written English through grammar lessons, vocabulary, roleplay scenarios, and conversation with an AI tutor. Lessons, vocabulary, rhymes and roleplay scripts are free to use. Conversation with the AI tutor requires an account and is subject to the limits described below.

The AI tutor can be wrong

Tutor replies, corrections and tips are generated automatically. They are usually helpful, but they can be mistaken, incomplete or oddly phrased, and speech recognition can mishear you. Treat the app as practice, not as an authority: do not rely on it for exam answers, legal, medical, financial or other professional matters, or for any decision where being wrong would matter.

Who can use it

The app contains material for young children as well as adults. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian’s permission, and only a parent or guardian may create an account or buy a subscription. By signing in you confirm you are old enough to do so, or that a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf.

Your account

Signing in uses your mobile number and a one-time SMS code. Keep access to that number secure: anyone who can receive your code can sign in as you. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which removes the data described in the Privacy Policy.

Fair use limits

Every AI reply costs us money to produce, so usage is capped. Signed-in users on the free tier get 15 AI replies per day. Subscribers get approximately 1,100 AI replies per month, which is far more than daily practice uses. Voice sessions are also limited per day. These limits exist to keep the app affordable and available, and we may adjust them — we will not reduce a subscriber’s allowance during a period you have already paid for.

Do not use the app to send unlawful, abusive or harmful content, to attempt to break or overload the service, to access it by automated means, or to resell or redistribute its content. We may suspend or close an account that does.

Subscriptions and payment

Angrezi Babu Pro costs ₹399 per month and currently includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play Billing, not by us directly. We never see or store your card details.

A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel at any time in the Google Play Store; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you are not charged. Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled by Google under its refund policy; for purchases made on our website, see our Cancellation and Refund Policy at www.angrezibabu.com/refund. Prices, trial length and availability may change; any change applies to future renewals, never retroactively.

Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store first, or you will continue to be billed.

Content and ownership

The lessons, vocabulary, roleplay scenarios, artwork and software in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own learning, but not copy, republish or sell them. Rhymes and songs for children link out to YouTube and remain the property of their respective owners.

What you type or say stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run the app — to produce a reply, a correction or a transcript — as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

We try to keep the app running, but we do not promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. It may be offline for maintenance, or because of problems with networks or services we depend on. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on anything the AI tutor produced. Nothing here limits any rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects a subscription you are paying for, we will tell you in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
